It is floating around the web for the past few weeks and it's just getting more and more interesting. The revamping of Google's search engine causes confusion to some companies, website owners and blogger. Some thinks it is just the right way to do, but for some it is just another pain in their head to cut some changes and improve their websites and services. Google changing its formula on search engine queries is their move to fight cheaters and define websites with poor quality, focusing on the low quality of content, content farming and auto generating traffic, Google's new algorithm will put websites to the test. For some who don't know, Google's algorithm on search engine is not a joke, every time you click that search button on a certain word or phrase you want to search Google calculate relevance of the website that would be on the top the result, it is calculated in a fraction of a second and can generate millions of result.
The impact of these revamp may cause a big changes on search results, if you are a website owner then by now you might notice the change of your traffic flow coming from search results from Google. Relevance of the content makes the highest ranking factor to now Google's algorithm, this includes researches, analysis and in depth reports. Google is serious to take out any website on their search results which has a poor quality contents, contents that replicated or copied from other websites, websites that only trick Google to their way on generating high volume of traffic, website that have no or useless contents at all but are high in ranking. The content of your website is still the king, other Search Engine Optimization or SEO factor maybe still important but may lower their importance on ranking in search engine.
The algorithm itself makes sense when it comes to relevancy, for instance, from the last Google's algorithm people searched for "proper way to train a dog", the search generates about a hundred million websites, the first ten websites on the search engine has different URL, Title and Descriptions but has almost the same content, or, content that only points to other website or an advertisement for a product, this is because of the good SEO the site uses, or perhaps a cheating tactics to increase its traffic and popularity were done. In today's Google algorithm, it is more focused on how the website is doing on their viewer, how the reader feedback on the site, how often a visitor visits everyday, how unique the content it has as if there were no other exact information on the other website, how relevant the service was to the reader if it answers the searched questions, and much more (maybe one day a search results have a poll or something for Google to know its relevance to the reader). The competition in today's algorithm is heightened up, more sophisticated but more challenging, a good way to showcase everyone's skills when it comes to providing a good service for the people. So if you're thinking of setting up a website just to monetize it, think again.
