HOW TO: UNTETHER JAILBREAK IOS 4.3.1 USING SNOWBREEZE 2.5

iH8snow also released its newest Snowbreeze version to untether Jailbreak devices running on iOS 4.3.1. The Snowbreeze 2.5, unofficial windows version of PwnageTool 4.3 supports the following device:
  • iPhone 3G/3G[S]/4
  • iPod Touch 2G/3G/4
  • iPad
  • Apple TV 2


You will need:

*Download Snowbreeze 2.5
* Download and install latest iTunes
*Download iOS 4.3.1 for your device see list here

Instruction:

1. After download Snowbreeze 2.5, run it and click on the "next arrow" button


2. Browse your downloaded iOS 4.3.1 firmware and select it


3. Wait until Snowbreezeverify the firmware file, after that click the next button again



4. On the next window, select "Expert Mode" click the next button and then click "Build IPSW" and next button again.








5. Wait until Snowbreeze finish building the custom IPSW file which will be saved on your desktop, you can play Pac-Man while you wait.

6. Next, connect your device to your computer to boot in DFU mode by doing

  • Hold the Power and Home buttons for 10 seconds
  • Release the Power button but keep holding the Home button for 10 seconds.
  • Your device will now be in DFU mode

7. After successfully booting device in DFU mode, open your iTunes, hold the left "SHIFT" key and press the "Restore" button NOT the "Update" button browse and choose the custom firmware that Snowbreeze created, (it is saved on your desktop) and open it.


8. Wait for iTunes do everything, do not disconnect or interrupt, a progress bar indicates the installation status. After iTunes restore your device it will reboot and your device will be in Untethered Jailbroken state.

HOW TO: UNTETHER JAILBREAK IOS 4.3.1 USING PWNAGETOOL 4.3

iPhone Dev Team released its latest version of PwnageTool for Mac. This version will untether Jailbreak all iPhone 3GS, 4, iPad 1st gen, iPod Touch 3G/4G, and Apple TV running on the latest iOS 4.3.1. Again with feature of preserving your baseband. Here are the step by step guide:

*Download PwnageTool 4.3
*Download iOS 4.3.1 for your device on the list below:
Note: Put the iOS 4.3.1 on your desktop after download

*Download and install latest iTunes
*Open and start PwnageTool in "Expert Mode" and select the devices

 *Browse and choose the .ipsw for iOS 4.3.1


*Click on "Build" to start creating custom 4.3.1 firmware

*Wait until PwnageTool finish building the custom firmware

*Follow the onscreen instruction after the next step to enter your device in DFU mode
  • Hold Power and Home buttons for 10 seconds
  • Now release the Power button but continue holding the Home button for 10 more seconds 
  • If successful your device will be in DFU mode as seen below
*Now start iTunes while device is still connected, press and hold the option button (left Alt buton) and click on "Restore", do not press the "Update" button in iTunes.

*Wait until iTunes finish the restore, after that your device will reboot in iOS 4.3.1.

5 NEW COOL VIEW FROM BLOGGER

If you have a Blogger account or a blogspot owner well by now you may have noticed a new pop-up message for the new feature of Blogger. Blogger user and blogspot owner can now share their blog to their reader in more 5 Dynamic Views.

Flipcard
